Map Type

(UPDATED 2017) The high desert of Central Oregon is an incredibly beautiful area with a relatively dry climate well suited to outdoor recreation. The mountains, rivers, forests, canyons and high desert are laced with a network of trails designed and built by outdoor recreationists. In addition, the relatively moderate slopes of the mountains, foothills and desert areas are especially well suited to mountain biking, hiking, trail running, horseback riding and cross country skiing.

Each of the 15 mountain bike rides, 12 hikes, and 2 xc ski route recommendations on this map were researched, ridden, skied and checked by Adventure Maps. Additionally, many of the mountain bike and hike suggestions are denoted as options for trail runners. The descriptions and detailed overall view provided by the maps will help to plan the perfect day outdoors and get you home safely. The waterproof material won’t wear-out at the seams and can withstand the elements as well as a sweaty pocket. Even if you do have a good map, accidents can happen. For this reason, a portion of net proceeds from the sale of these map files will be donated to local search & rescue organizations.
